Our team of dental auxiliaries is made up of 6 dedicated ladies committed to serving you. They include: 1 receptionist, 2 Certified Dental Assistants, 1 EFDA's (Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary), and 2 Registered Dental Hygienists.


Our receptionist Regina is here to pleasantly handle all telephone contact, scheduling issues, insurance issues, financial counseling and any special requests you may have of our practice.

Nina is our Certified Dental Assistant. Nina is a 2006 graduate of the Ohio Institute of Health Careers. She has twelve years of clinical experience. Dr. Cooke has trained Nina in the techniques and procedures of our office. She is qualified to take and process all radiographs.

Our EFDA (Expanded Function Dental Auxiliary) is Tanya, who has eighteen years of experience in the dental field. She is a very talented lady who provides primary assistance to Dr. Cooke during clinical treatment. EFDA training is above and beyond certified dental assisting training. EFDA degrees are confirmed on candidates after they complete a year long course of study at Case Western Reserve University, School of Dental Medicine. Upon successful completion of this accredited program, she was eligible to sit for the state certifying examination provided by the Commission on Dental Testing. Tanya passed the exam in June 2015 and has worked in that capacity ever since. Tanya is qualified to perform many restorative procedures, including but not limited to impression taking, fabrication of provisional restorations, placement of direct fillings and temporary fillings.” Visit the EFDA website.
 
Margie is one of our Registered Dental Hygienists. She graduated from Cuyahoga County Community College in 2004 with an Associates of Applied Science Dental Hygiene, she is committed to the overall preventive health of her patients focusing on comprehensive care from assessment through dental hygiene treatment. As a member of Dr. Cooke's team she works toward the goal of overall wellness evaluating both dental issues and their close knit association with systemic health.  Visit the American Dental Hygienists Association website.

Brittany is one of our dental assistants. She is a 2013 graduate of Amherst Steel High School and a 2014 graduate of the JVS (Joint Vocational School) program for dental assisting. She has four years of experience working in the dental field, and will soon begin the EFDA program at Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine.

Regina has been in the dental field since graduating from Ohio Institute of Health Careers in 2007. She worked clinically chairside for 8 years before moving to front office administration. Regina enjoys working with patients and helping them with scheduling, treatment coordination and with their insurance needs.
